  1. tansi Thirza!

First of all, congratulations on the tattoo!
I’m finishing up an entry on queer Indigenous Studies for the Cambridge Handbook of Queer Studies, using three of your films. I want to make sure I’m using the right pronouns. I’ll let you know when it is out–academic publishing is very slooow.

I’m excited that you’re working on a feature film!!

  2. Dear Thirza,
I’ve been aware of your video art work for a while, but today saw that you are also developing a feature film. I’d like to invite you to submit to our Creators of Colour Incubator, which is taking place from August-September 2020. This program provides mentorship from top industry professionals in the film and television industry which culminates in an online pitch competition in partnership with TIFF. If you’re interested, you can check us out Please feel free to reach out directly to me if you have any questions. Best, Maya

  3. “2 Spirit Dreamcatcher Dot Com” hit all the right notes. Every laugh had a murky undertone that I am pleased to have experienced.

p.s. I am researching media artists for McMaster University’s CSMM/Art curriculum and am wondering if you might be able to guide me toward other Indigenous artists?

    Thank you,

  4. i think about lessons in baby dyke theory atleast once a day i think about it before i start any art work thank u thirza for making something so genuine n for keeping me going
